Fishing near Klamath River RV Park

Important for the 2026 season: Fishing this Year

July 1 opens up for one adult King Salmon, usually down in the estuary area.

August 16 starts the Fall fishing season for one King Salmon and two Jack.

Fishing seasons, species, limits, and access conditions change, so anglers should review current California regulations and local conditions before their trip.

Klamath River RV Park makes a peaceful home base for seasonal fishing in the Klamath area. The park has a fish-cleaning station for registered guests, but no longer offers a boat launch, dock, beach, or developed shoreline fishing area. The riverbank along the campground has become steep, uneven, and not suitable for easy access.

Public fishing access, boat launches, guided trips, and additional fishing opportunities are available nearby.
