Park Rules and Info
We want everyone at Klamath River RV Park to feel safe, comfortable, and enjoy their time with us.
Our rules are designed to protect you and your fellow guests. Some rules are mandated by our insurance carrier, some by the State of California, and some by us.

We take these rules seriously and expect all our guests to do the same.

Disregard for the rules, causing dissension among other campers, or any conduct deemed improper by the management is cause for immediate eviction without notice or refund.

Campsite etiquette
It's important to respect your fellow campers by following proper campsite etiquette.
-
Don't walk or bike through other people's campsites to protect their privacy.
-
Don't wash sewer hoses or other items in eating areas such as on picnic tables.
-
Pick up your trash and clean up after your pets.
Kids
Children under 18 are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardian. Parents, make sure your children are aware of all campground rules. Children must be accompanied by an adult to the river at all times. Caution: please stay well back from the edge - there is a sharp drop and the soil can be unstable. Currents are very strong – there is no swimming and no lifeguard.

Playground Rules
-
The play tower is for children aged 3-8 only.
-
Children must be supervised by an adult 21 or older at all times.
-
Please ensure the safety of all children by following these guidelines.
-
Enjoy and have fun while keeping the playground safe for everyone!
Pets
We welcome your friendly, well-behaved furry friends!
-
All pets must be leashed at all times, in and out of campsites.
-
Tie-outs must not allow pets to roam outside your campsite.
-
You must clean up after your pet. Every little bit, every time.
-
Do not leave your pets unattended outside in any part of the campground, including your campsite, at any time, in any weather, even in a pen or cage.
-
No pet cages or pens are allowed - we have experienced issues in the past.
-
Please observe “no pets in this area” signs.
-
No excessive barking.
Important: as a condition of check-in, you assume full responsibility and liability for all actions/incidents caused by your pet while on Klamath River RV Park property.

Non-compliance with these pet rules may result in immediate eviction without notice or refund.
Laundry
The laundry room is in the building next to the showers/restrooms.

Washing and drying is $2 each load (quarters are required.) A change machine is available in the laundry room. Purchase detergent at the store/office.

Please stay with your laundry and do not leave clothes unattended.
Mats, carpets, and rugs
To protect our grass, wildflowers, and beneficial creatures, please limit outdoor mats, carpets, and other covering to welcome mat size (approximate 2' x 3'.)
Trash
A trash dumpster for household trash only is located near the back of the park. Please do not throw away other items (chairs, barbecues, excessive boxes, etc.) Do not put trash in the restrooms or laundry room.

Important: Do not leave trash or pets outside at any time. Bears and other wildlife frequently enter the park, and crows and animals will scatter your trash, day or night. Always secure your trash to avoid attracting wildlife and creating a mess.
Help Protect our Fragile Septic System
We have a very fragile septic system. Please do not put anything that's not septic-safe into your sink, toilet, shower, or sewer connection. This includes:
• wet wipes, even if they say "flushable"
• paper towels
• kitchen/bath towels
• latex gloves
• feminine products
• chemicals, paint, cleaners

Please do not use the washing machine in your RV - the detergent and bleach kills the delicate balance of our system and it will shut down (our laundry facilities divert into a completely separate system designed to handle the chemicals.)
Speed limit
Speed limit throughout the park is 7mph (including bicycles and e-bikes).
Guests
Guests are welcome to visit at your site, but overnight guests must register and pay a $4 per-person fee. Tents are generally not allowed at RV sites except by special arrangement, so please see the office (pop-up tents are strongly discouraged due to strong winds.) Each site has a two-vehicle limit; additional vehicles must use designated parking areas - please ask the camp host for details.
Respect the River
The river is a natural environment that requires respect and caution. To ensure everyone's safety and the preservation of this pristine area, we ask all visitors to adhere to the following guidelines:

-
No river access: There is no access to the river from the RV park. The water can be unpredictable, and hidden dangers such as rocks and debris may pose a risk.
-
Stay on designated paths: please do not attempt to climb down to the river shore. The banks are unstable, and unauthorized access can cause erosion and damage to the natural habitat.
-
Supervise children at all times: Keep a close watch on your children, especially when they are near the river. The currents can be strong, and the water can be deeper than it appears.
-
Respect wildlife: The river and its surroundings are home to various wildlife. Please observe from a distance and do not disturb animals or their habitats.
Important: as a condition of check-in, you assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by all members of your party, including pets, as a result of your stay.
Campfires
For everyone’s safety, campfires are ONLY allowed in campground fire rings. No campfires are allowed in RV spaces (propane-powered fire pits/bowls and gas grills are an exception.)
At any time, we may receive notice that all fires have been banned by the country due to high wildfire risk - we will post when these conditions exist.
Other restricted items
-
Power booster boxes (e.g. car jump starters) have created electrical problems in our system and we request that you do not use them.
-
Electric smokers, extra refrigerators, and bug lights.
-
Electric space heaters are a huge fire risk for RVs and are NOT PERMITTED (obviously we cannot police this, but ask for your cooperation.)
Important: Liability
By checking in at Klamath River RV Park, you and all members of your party voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by all members of your party, including pets, as a result of your stay.

You agree to release Klamath River RV Park from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever arising out of any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that you or any member of your party, including pets, may sustain or to any of your property, while upon the RV park premises.
This includes damages from negligence (your own or others), and/or natural phenomena such as but not limited to wind, fire, and water damage.
